We Don't Store Your Data

We don't want to care about privacy — we say NO to storing your sensitive data on the cloud.

No Accounts

No sign-up. No login. No email.

We don't know or care who you are, and we don't want to.

Browser Only

No servers. No tracking. No analytics.

Your data is only visible on your screen while you're using the tool. We never see it.

Close Tab = Gone

No cookies. No storage. No trace.

When you close your browser, your data vanishes. It's like you were never here.

Military Grade Encryption and other buzz words sound impressive.
They're not — and it could sting you.

Other services love to brag about “military-grade 256-bit AES encryption.”
Here's what they don't tell you:
Encryption, no matter how strong, is only as good as your password. If your password is “password123!” (yeah, we know), all that encryption is the digital equivalent of locking your front door but leaving the key under the mat (you really shouldn't do that).

Their approach: store your most sensitive information on their servers and hope nobody breaks in.

Our approach:

We just... don't store it. At all. Can't steal what doesn't exist.

You shouldn't trust us, or anyone. We don't trust you and your password security either.
...and we're too cheap to pay for storage anyway.

Who stopped putting it off.

My boss held all the keys to our startup — passwords, accounts, vendor contacts, everything. He travelled constantly and half the time we couldn't even reach him. If something happened to him on one of those trips, five years of work would just vanish. We sat him down that week and made him make a Bus Doc. Now the whole leadership team has one.

My best friend's mom died out of nowhere. She handled everything — bills, accounts, all of it. Then suddenly her dad was getting past due notices and the water got shut off while this man was trying to grieve his wife, because he had no clue what to do. I made my first Bus Doc that same weekend.

My husband and I did ours together on a Sunday afternoon. Morbid? Maybe. But we laughed the whole time.

FAQ

Questions?

We get it. This is a weird thing. Here are the common ones.

No. The Bus Doc is not a legal document. It's the practical stuff your will doesn't cover — bills, passwords, who feeds the cat. We recommend consulting an attorney for actual estate planning.

Nowhere. Everything stays in your browser. We have no database, no user accounts, and no way to see what you enter. When you close the tab, your data is gone forever. That's the point.

Yes. When you're done, you can export an encrypted save file alongside your PDF. Next time you want to update, just upload that file and pick up where you left off. The save file is encrypted and only usable by you.

If you haven't exported your save file yet, your data is gone — that's by design. But if you've saved your encrypted file, you can come back anytime, upload it, and continue.

Nope. Every paid tier is a one-time purchase. Pay once, download your Bus Doc. No recurring charges, no annual fees. The only optional recurring cost is the Check-Up Reminder add-on, and even that is pay-as-you-go — not a subscription.

It's a professional PDF document formatted for US Letter size. Print it, put it in a binder, and store it somewhere your family can find it.

No problem. Export your encrypted save file before you close the tab, and upload it next time to pick up right where you left off. It only takes about 20 minutes total though — less time than an episode of your favorite show.

Absolutely. Sit down with them, walk through it together, and download their Bus Doc. It's actually a great conversation starter for topics nobody wants to bring up.

Your loved ones
will thank you.

20 minutes now saves weeks of chaos later.
